Attention to these four high blood pressure symptoms
High blood pressure has no symptoms for many
of us, and for others, the symptoms are so mild that they go unnoticed more
often. This is why it is estimated that one third of hypertensive people
are not diagnosed and are unaware that they have a life-threatening condition
if not treated.
Because, for many patients, the high blood pressure symptoms,
especially in the early stages of the disease, they are mild or no symptoms,
they are more likely to manifest themselves when our condition is in its most
advanced stages of development.
For those of us with one or more of the
following risk factors for the development of hypertension:
-being overweight or obese;
-being more than 40 years;
-we have diabetes or
-we have a family history of the state,we should have regular checkups, if we want to be diagnosed
before we get any high blood pressure symptoms.
Beware of these symptoms if there is no family history of hypertension
and do not suffer from any medical condition that can cause this condition
history:
1. Frequent headaches and migraines;
2. Feints, dizziness or confusion;
3. Your vision becomes blurred;
4. Frequent nosebleeds, especially if you have not already
suffered with them.
Too many of us dismiss the high blood pressure symptoms
as unimportant or explained as caused by something else. If we suffer from one
or more of these high blood pressure Symptoms we should seek emergency
medical attention before our condition worsens and causes damage to the rest of
our health.
Diagnose hypertension is easy, fast and painless.
Your doctor will use a machine to monitor the blood pressure to
determine your systolic and diastolic pressures, and in a few minutes
will be able to confirm whether or not you have hypertension. Your
condition will be monitored over a period of time to eliminate the possibility
of false readings caused by "white coat hypertension". You may
even be asked to wear an ambulatory blood pressure monitor for 24 hours
to allow your doctor to make an accurate diagnosis and determine the
appropriate treatment for you.
With the increasing number of us who are overweight or obese
and the prevalence of diabetes, it is important to know the high
blood pressure symptoms to be monitored because if we are not to fall prey
to this silent killer.
